YCIS Families,

Yesterday several students reported to administration about potential threats and weapons on campus. YC Administration along with the Yamhill Police department reacted quickly to follow up on those reports. Students remained safe throughout the day, and our school remains safe today. Today, we have many students spreading false information based on rumors and assumptions about yesterday’s events. We ask that parents partner with YCIS staff to help limit rumors and hearsay so that we can focus on the important task of student learning. On the other hand, If your student has actual knowledge of a weapon or an individual that plans to cause harm, please report that information to a school official as quickly as possible.

Our schools are safe when we all work together.

Thank you,

Chad Tollefson

Bus Snow Routes 2018-2019

AM & PM YCIS - YCES Transfer busing information:
The bus pick up and drop off area has changed this year to the back side of YCIS at the new bus lane.  For the safety of students we are asking students who are riding the bus to the elementary school to be dropped off at the YCIS main entrance and enter the bus area through the school.   If your child needs assistance getting to the bus area there will be a staff member at the front door to escort them to the buses.

**The buses leave YCIS for the Elementary School promptly at 7:55.**

When the buses return  in the afternoon students will come thru the school and exit out the front doors. Thank you for being patience while we adjust to the new busing changes
